This Privacy Policy explains how Zend24 ("we") collects and processes personal data when you use our transactional email platform at zend24.com. We act as data controller for your account data, and as data processor for the recipient data contained in the emails you send through us.

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, hashed password, and authentication identifiers (including Google/GitHub if you use social login). Usage data: sending logs, delivery/bounce/complaint events, opens and clicks, API request metadata and IP addresses. Billing data: plan and subscription status; card details are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Recipient data: the addresses and message content you submit for delivery.

2. How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, deliver your emails, prevent abuse and spam, enforce quotas, process payments, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. Legal bases under the GDPR are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (security and service improvement), and legal compliance.

3. Subprocessors

We share data with providers that help us run the Service: Amazon Web Services (email delivery and hosting, EU region), and Stripe (payment processing). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

4. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Sending logs and event data are retained to provide analytics and meet legal and anti-abuse needs, then deleted or anonymized. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and request portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords (Argon2id), hashed API keys, optional two-factor authentication, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
